Know these simple rules, or we will lay the smackdown. Note, these rules apply to ALL FORUMS, except Firepit!
BEFORE READING ANYTHING ELSE,
READ THIS.
DO NOT post on this forum if you:
- are just looking to say, "hi", or that you love us. Use your journal
- want to make a 'versus' thread, i.e. Superman vs. Batman, Master Chief vs. Samus, etc. We've all seen them before.
- are going to place images in every post to emulate a signature.
- have a question about something that has been answered 73 times already (if you haven't read at least five threads yet, chances are it has been addressed).
- feel the need to post something stupid (if you have to ask, don't press submit)
- impersonate others intentionally (pictures, etc.), in guise of comment "experimentation". This does not create a trusting community
are unable to stay on topic.
- are posting to ask why your thread was deleted. Message one of the mods instead
- are going to ask about sponsoring. check the side boxes
- are going to post anything remotely considered 'Not Safe for Work'. If you don't know, restrain yourself
- are tempted to troll. This means don't create topics to deliberately incite forum disruption and argument. In other words, don't create threads that read 'This band sucks', 'Xbox roooollz GAYCUBE DROOLZ', or 'HAY GUYS WHATS BETTER MAC OR PC?//'
- are planning to create a thread dedicated to that wacky flash film 'Posting and You'. Yes, we've all seen it and oddly enough, most people trying to post it actually violate more forum rules than they're trying to prevent
- want to start a 'three word story' or similar thread - it's the equivalent of textual masturbation. Keep it under the sheets
- are spamming anywhere, including people's comments or journal comments or picture comments
- are just going to repeatedly harass another member, especially in their images or profile. e-stalking is not cool.
- feel compelled to post anything about piracy or theft of any kind. We do not support modding either.
These rules are subject to revision, especially as the site and forum grows. Enjoy your stay!
